Attorney Blair M. Johnson

Blair M. Johnson previously worked with the Peter J. Johnson Law Office from 2003 to 2007, during which time he developed his own interior practice as a non-attorney representative for Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income claimants. During his time in law school, Blair helped establish the Shalom HELP Legal Clinic in Bloomington, Indiana, a free legal clinic for people experiencing homelessness. Operating out of a local church, the Shalom HELP Clinic provided legal advice and representation in a variety of civil areas including bankruptcy, child support, and personal injury while also offering assistance with Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income, and Medicaid applications. At the same time, Blair also served on the governing board for the Interfaith Winter Shelter, an ad hoc organization comprised of over 25 congregations and faith-based communities to provide shelter for the homeless during the winter months. Blair holds a B.A. degree from Hope College (2002) and a J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2010).
